Briefly: This Is How It Works

Our systems constantly updates and monitors your computers and networks for any unusual activity.  If a known virus, malware or hack is detected it is automatically removed.  No decisions or actions are required by you.

If there is unknown, undefined or suspicious activity, like a ransomware attack or some new undefined outbreak that occurs, we trap it and mark it for remediation (act of correcting an error or fault).  Our staff examines the issue and makes the correction.

If the attack bypasses all attempts to stop it we have a “roll-back” feature that will restore files to a non-infected state.  This is much faster than restoring from a backup that can take days or weeks to accomplish depending on the size of your files. 

What Your Costs Are:

There is a monthly, or annual, charge for the monitoring and auto-repair features, just like many anti-virus software subscriptions.  If a remediation is required, the time it takes to resolve the issue will be at our REMOTE Access (Help Desk) rates.  This ranges from 15 minutes to an hour for a full recovery.
